What We Believe

We are part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), a mainline Protestant denomination grounded in scripture, grace, and thoughtful faith.

For us, first and foremost, it means that we believe all people are included in the love of God, a Love beyond any societal boundaries. To bring about the kin-dom, all must be included, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, physical or mental ability, age, economic situation, documentation status, or religious creed.

Another key component of the Presbyterian Church(USA) is that we are “reformed and always reforming”. While we take scripture seriously and honor our tradition, we also view being able to adapt to an ever-changing world as an advantage rather than a hindrance.
